This show was special. I may not be the biggest country music fan but more and more I'm seeing just how loyal these fans are. Last night's forecast called for a 70% chance of rain. It rained the entire time. And it wasn't just a sprinkle, no. It was pouring! But these fans were unfazed. In an instant that reminded some of1969, people began ripping off their clothes, making a slip and slide in the mud and doing just about everything other than worry about the rain. It was beautiful. The music rang on and they hooted and hollered. By the end of the show, people were spent. Walking out you can see it in their faces -- they may be rethinking a few things they did that night but the smile on their face reminds them that they experienced Bethel Woods the right way. Great show.
